Criteria for Law Annulment

During the emergency phase, certain laws must be annulled immediately to align the legal system with democratic and human rights standards. The guiding principle is the national motto:

The following categories of laws should be annulled:

  1. Ideological & Religious-Imposed Laws
    • Compulsory hijab and dress codes.
    • Restrictions on freedom of expression, press, and assembly.
    • Laws enforcing religious conformity or punishing dissent.
  2. Discriminatory Laws Against Women
    • Inequality in marriage, divorce, and custody.
    • Prohibitions on women in certain professions.
    • Limitations on inheritance rights.
  3. Repressive & Inhumane Penalties
    • Stoning, flogging, and amputation.
    • Death penalty for political or religious dissent.
    • Forced confessions and torture.
  4. Sectarian & Minority Discrimination
    • Legal restrictions on religious and ethnic minorities.
    • Denial of equal citizenship rights.
